Cop shows in the U.S. have sometimes featured regular gay characters, like Julien in The Shield and John in NYPD Blue, but the French series Les Bleus has taken the next step by making a lead character gay, and actually given him a love interest.
Nicolas Gob plays rookie cop Kévin, who falls in love with fellow cop Yann, played by Mathieu Delarive. The clips I've seen so far have been sweet and effective, and even though they're in French, it's easy to get the gist of what's going on, and I find myself making up my own dialogue (I knew I should've taken French in High School, but I took two years of Pig Latin instead...Rap-Cay!)
